The two bramble necklaces were inspired by my home town, where the plant’s fruit is harvested and sold. Evocative of bramble thorns protecting their fruit, the thorns on the body are symbolic protection. Their pointed ends evoke a sense of danger, reminiscent of a double-edged sword, which creates a feeling of slight discomfort.

When worn, the necklaces sit flat on the body, keeping their undulating shape. Each section was handmade in wax and then cast; no two links are identical.
